GarageInsight ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company") provides digital vehicle inspection software and related services (collectively, the "Service") designed to assist automotive repair professionals in documenting and communicating vehicle conditions. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimers and limitations.

    1. Not a Diagnostic Tool

GarageInsight is NOT a diagnostic tool. Our Service is designed to assist in documenting visual inspections and organizing repair recommendations. It does not:

    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural problems
    • Identify the root cause of vehicle issues
    • Replace professional mechanical diagnostics or testing equipment
    • Substitute for the expertise of trained automotive technicians
    • Guarantee the accuracy of any vehicle condition assessment

All diagnostic decisions must be made by qualified automotive professionals using appropriate diagnostic tools and methodologies.

    2. Recommendations Are Suggestions Only

Any recommendations, suggestions, or guidance provided through our Service—including but not limited to AI-generated summaries, maintenance schedules, and repair priorities—are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as:

    • Professional automotive advice
    • Guaranteed solutions to vehicle problems
    • Prescriptive repair requirements
    • Safety certifications or approvals

Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all information and making their own informed decisions regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.

    3. AI-Generated Content Limitations

Our Service utilizes artificial intelligence to generate summaries, analyze inspection data, and provide suggestions. You acknowledge that:

    • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
    • AI systems may misinterpret data or produce unexpected outputs
    • AI recommendations should always be reviewed by qualified professionals before acting upon them
    • AI cannot replace human judgment, especially for safety-critical decisions
    • AI models may have biases or limitations based on their training data

We disclaim all liability for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

    4. Third-Party Data Accuracy

Our Service integrates with third-party data sources, including but not limited to:

    • VIN Decoding: Vehicle identification data obtained from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and other sources may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate
    • Recalls: Recall information is sourced from NHTSA and manufacturers. We do not guarantee completeness or timeliness of recall data
    • Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs): TSB data may not reflect all manufacturer communications and is provided for reference only
    • OEM Specifications: Factory specifications and maintenance intervals are approximations and may not apply to all vehicle configurations

Users should independently verify all third-party data through official manufacturer resources or authorized dealers.

    5. No Warranty on Repairs

GarageInsight does not perform, supervise, or warrant any vehicle repairs. We are a software provider only. Therefore:

    • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or effectiveness of any repairs performed by shops using our Service
    • We are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from repairs performed based on inspections documented in our system
    • We do not certify or endorse any repair shop, technician, or service provider
    • Warranty disputes should be addressed directly with the performing repair facility

    6. User Responsibility

Users of our Service bear full responsibility for:

    • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all inspection data entered
    • Verifying all recommendations before presenting them to customers
    • Making independent professional judgments about vehicle safety and repair needs
    • Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
    • Maintaining appropriate professional licenses and certifications
    • Carrying adequate liability insurance for their business operations

IMPORTANT: GarageInsight should NEVER be the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. Vehicle safety assessments must be performed by qualified professionals using appropriate tools and adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

We expressly disclaim any liability for personal injury, death, property damage, or other losses arising from reliance on our Service for safety-critical determinations.

    • Do not replace physical inspection by qualified professionals

    9. Customer Communications

Reports and communications generated for vehicle owners through our Service:

    • Are provided by the repair shop, not by GarageInsight
    • May contain information entered by shop personnel that we have not verified
    • Should be reviewed with the repair facility for clarification
